Symbio is an external 160GB hard drive that works with the control functions in all 2004 Toshiba Integrated HDTV models. There is a simple one-wire connection, utilizing the TV's IEEE1394 port. It will continue recording up to 60 minutes to allow you to pause or "rewind" at any time while watching live TV, then resume playback from the point you paused or reversed, so you dont miss any portion of the program. If the unit is paused for more than 60 minutes, it will automatically begin playback 60 minutes behind live TV. If the hard drive is full, you will not be able to pause live TV.
